Drum units: Calsorb Drum, Ventsorb Drum

Activated carbon is used for a wide range of fields such as water treatment and odor gas treatment. In actual use, it take a lot of doing for e.g. arrangement of the activated carbon unit and installation and replacement of spent carbon. Although drum units Calsorb Drum and Ventsorb are simple drum cans apparently, they are very high-performance adsorbing units on which we have concentrated a large volume of know-how accumulated with large units.

The method of using these units is simple. Since the units are delivered with activated carbon filled, they are being operated after they are connected to the piping in field (Ventsorb can be used immediately after connection, Calsorb can be used by the next day of installation).

If the unit's absorbing performance is degraded, arrange the replacement unit and perform replacement in field. Please send the used unit to our designated factory. In the factory, the spent carbon is removed from the unit and reactivated. At the same time, check and maintenance for the unit are performed. After replacement with new carbon or coalreactivated carbon, the unit will be shipped and delivered as desired by the customer.

We have reactivation spent carbon for the chemicals industry, food industry, water works, sewage treatment facilities, etc. Performances of reactivated carbon to be used for our equipment products are inspected for all lots in the same level as that for the water works. This is also same as reactivation of the spent carbon in drum type units. For the Calsorb system and drum units, the completed activated carbon adsorbing system will be provided rapidly, easily, and economically along with the reactivation service.
